Train for Every Woman’s Marathon With a Team Beside You

16 weeks of individualized marathon training, coaching and community to help you arrive at the Every Woman’s Marathon starting line prepared, confident and ready for 26.2.

Training begins November 9, 2026
Race day: February 27, 2027 | New Orleans

You signed up for the marathon.
Now, how do you want to get there?

You can find a marathon training plan anywhere.

What that plan can't tell you is whether it's right for you, what to do when life gets in the way, or whether that rough long run means you need to change something or simply keep going.

And it definitely can't give you a group of women who know exactly what you're working toward because they're doing it too.

That's why we created the Team Sugar Runs Every Woman’s Marathon Training Group.

You'll have individualized training built around your fitness, experience, schedule and goals, coaching to help you navigate the process, and a community beside you all the way to New Orleans.

Two Women Holding Hands Headed Towards Every Woman's Marathon Finish Line

You signed up for Every Woman’s Marathon feeling excited... and now you're staring at all the marathon plans out there wondering which one actually makes sense for you.

You look at a 16-mile long run on your calendar and immediately start figuring out how you're going to fit it around kids, work, travel, or everything else that isn't going to stop just because you're training for a marathon.

You have a bad run and your brain goes straight to, How am I ever going to run 26.2 miles?

You want to train seriously, but you also know there will be weeks when work gets busy, your kid gets sick, you travel, or your long run simply doesn't go the way you expected, and you want to know how to adjust without feeling like you've screwed up your training.

You've run a marathon before, but this time you want to do more than just follow another plan. You want to train intentionally, learn from the process, and see what you're capable of.

Or maybe you're excited about doing something this big and wish you had other women to share the nerves, questions, and wins with along the way.

If right now…

This group is for you.

Your training. Your goals. Our support.

Over 16 weeks, you’ll get:

Come with your people. Or find them here.

Maybe this is your first marathon. Maybe it's your tenth.

Maybe you're chasing a PR. Maybe your goal is to train consistently and feel strong crossing the finish line.

Maybe you're signing up with friends. Maybe you don't know anyone else running.

You don't need to run a certain pace or have a certain goal to belong here.

This is for women who want to train intentionally, have a coach in their corner, and experience the journey to 26.2 alongside other women doing the same thing.

16 weeks of individualized marathon training + coaching + community

At Team Sugar Runs, we coach the person behind the training plan, helping women pursue meaningful running goals while navigating real bodies, real schedules and real life.

Meet Your Coaches

Coach Jessica

Jessica is the owner and head coach of Team Sugar Runs, a longtime marathoner, and a coach who knows firsthand what it means when running doesn't go according to plan.

After navigating multiple injuries and her own long return to running, Jessica's coaching is rooted in helping runners build sustainable training around the body and life they have right now, rather than constantly chasing perfect weeks or comparing themselves to who they used to be.

She'll help you see the bigger picture of your marathon training, make smart adjustments when things don't go as planned, and build confidence in the work you're doing along the way.

Coach Stephanie

Stephanie specializes in helping runners who have experienced burnout, lost confidence in their running, or found that chasing the next goal has started to take some of the joy out of the process.

Her coaching helps runners pursue meaningful goals while building a healthier, more confident relationship with their training, because preparing for a marathon should challenge you without making you feel like running has become another thing you're failing at.

She's also an Every Woman's Marathon finisher, which means she'll be bringing firsthand experience of this race and everything that makes the weekend so special to the group.

Two coaches. Two perspectives. One shared goal.

Together, we'll help you train intentionally, navigate the imperfect weeks, and arrive in New Orleans feeling prepared for the marathon you've trained for and proud of how you got there.

What It’s Like to Have Us In Your Corner

Woman holding a medal at the end of Twin Cities Marathon

I always felt I didn’t have to over explain myself. Stephanie would tell me, ‘life is lifeing, Mari, I get it. One missed run won’t ruin your training, give yourself grace and there is so much beauty in slowing down and resting.’

She simply got me. She understood me and I truly valued working with a coach who truly made me feel seen and valued me not just as an athlete but as the wonderful and capable human that I am. I just needed to learn that it’s okay to ask for help and I got it with Coach Stephanie.

[Jessica gave me] a plan based on my current ability, with a promising plan to improve without the risk of quitting or being injured. I achieved race goals, became stronger, learned about the way the body uses food as fuel and how to properly fuel to prevent burnout during tough runs.

I have arrived and overcome lifelong struggles of striving for perfection... offering myself grace, and learning that progress is always better than perfection.

I want to thank Jessica for being more than a coach, she changed my life by believing in me.
