The Runner’s Comeback Group Coaching Program
Next cohort starts: June 15, 2026
12 week online program to help you return to running after a break or injury so you can run more miles, love running again, sign up for races with certainty and without constantly comparing to your old running times.
Most women returning to running or getting into running don’t realize the thing that’s causing them to:
Feel like running just doesn’t fit into their life anymore
Compare every run to “the old me” and feel like they’ll never measure up
Run 3 times one week and 0 times the next week
Hesitate to sign up for a race because of the fear “what if I get injured?”
Started a training plan… then stop at week 2
has nothing to do with discipline or willpower and everything to do with the support around you, the mindset you bring into your runs, and the structure you’re trying to follow….
…and whether or not any of that actually fits your current life!
That’s exactly why we created The Runner’s Comeback Group Coaching Program! So you can experience momentum, confidence, and joy in running again.
If right now you feel like this… you’re exactly who we created this for:
If you’re coming back from injury:
every ache sends you into an emotional spiral
you don’t trust your body the way you used to
you’re scared to sign up for a race because “what if something happens again?”
you’ve tried “starting slow” more times than you can count
you keep wondering if you’re doing too much or not enough
If you’re postpartum:
your body feels different and unpredictable
running used to feel effortless — now everything feels harder
you barely have time to shower, let alone train
guilt creeps in whenever you try to take time for yourself
you feel like you’re starting from scratch, again
If you’re returning after burnout or life changes:
long runs used to feel easy — now even 20 minutes feels like a mental battle
you miss the version of you who felt strong, steady, consistent
work, kids, and responsibilities leave you exhausted
you want to run… but you’re overwhelmed by how to fit it in
you don’t know what goals make sense anymore
This program is for you.
THE TRUTH?
If you’re:
Trying to juggle strength classes, random runs, and race goals with no plan…
Comparing yourself to your past running self…
Tell yourself you’ll run 3 times this week and never fit it in…
Feeling like you don’t know how to pace your comeback and end up doing too much or too little.
You’re not setting yourself up for success. You’re stuck in a cycle that keeps you from moving forward. This is so easily corrected and once you do, you’ll…
feel consistent without relying on motivation.
learn to trust your body again.
build a running routine that fits your life.
have structure, support, and belief to run or race a 5K after 12 weeks.
Here’s what support actually looks like inside the program:
You’ll have your runs laid out each week through Final Surge, so you don’t have to think about what to do or how to piece things together. But more importantly, you’ll learn how to adjust that structure when life inevitably shifts, without feeling like you’re falling behind or starting over.
A running structure that works with your life
You’ll have access to your coaches throughout the week through Everfit or Final Surge, so when something feels off, you’re not left guessing what to do next. We also meet as a group every other week, which becomes a space to talk through what’s coming up, hear from other women going through the same thing, and work on building a support system within your life.
Support so you’re not doing this alone
The mindset work that actually makes this stick
Each week includes short videos and reflection work, not to add more to your plate, but to help you start noticing the patterns that have been keeping you stuck. This is where you begin to shift how you think about missed runs, pace, comparison, and what progress actually looks like for you now.
You’ll work toward a 5K over the course of the program, whether that’s something you do locally or on your own, but the goal isn’t just to finish it. It’s to get to a place where you feel steady, capable, and confident in how you’re approaching your running again.
A goal to build toward (without pressure)
Inside this program, here’s what actually starts to change:
You miss a run and move on instead of feeling guilty
You adjust your run instead of skipping it entirely
You stop trying to “make up” missed workouts
You go out for a run without overthinking it beforehand
You start to feel like running fits into your life again
What You’ll Accomplish In 12 Weeks
By the end of this program, you will:
Know how to adjust a run when something feels off, instead of skipping it entirely or pushing through and feeling worse
Stop feeling like missing one run means you’re falling behind or need to start over
Build a routine that fits into your actual schedule, not something you have to force or rearrange your life around
Trust that you can keep going, even when a week doesn’t go perfectly
Feel more steady in your approach to running, instead of constantly second-guessing yourself
Meet Your Coaches
Coach Jessica
I’ll always be able to say I ran a 3:01 marathon, but I’m not that runner today. For a long time, that truth felt like failure.
After injury, surgery, and a long comeback, I had to learn how to stop comparing myself to who I used to be and rebuild belief in who I was becoming.
I had to think like a beginner again, even as a coach.
When I finally let myself embrace the runner I was in this season, everything shifted. I found joy and confidence.
And I eventually ran a sub-20 5K and a 1:31 half. Not because I chased old PRs, but because I trusted myself again.
That’s what I want for you — trust, belief, and a comeback rooted in who you are now.
Coach Jessica (just after knee surgery and then 12 months later racing a 5K)
Coach Stephanie
I started running with my daughters in the stroller because I wanted them to see movement as joy, not punishment.
But over time, I felt the pressure to run a certain way. To get faster, do more, be “better.” I found myself stuck in comparison, losing the joy that brought me to running in the first place.
What changed everything was getting clear on why I wanted to run and building support around that truth — not around other people’s expectations.
Running became freedom again. It became identity. It became strength.
That’s the experience I want to help you build.
Coach Stephanie with her daughters when she first started running and most recently running Chicago Marathon in 2024.
Testimonials
As a woman we are the last fill our cup as we try to make sure everyone else’s cup is filled.
I always felt I didn’t have to over explain myself, “life is lifeing, Mari, I get it. —One missed run won’t ruin your training, give yourself grace and there is so much beauty in slowing down and resting. “ she said
She simply got me- she understood me and I truly valued working with a coach who truly made me feel seen and valued me not just as an athlete but as the wonderful and capable human that I am, somehow she reminded me without me even noticing. Needless to stay I feel in love with running again, because I too can do hard things, I just needed to learn that it’s okay to ask for help and I got it with Coach Stephanie

Over the past 6 years Jessica's guidance has helped me reach numerous running goals, but it has truly been invaluable for the past 18 months as I navigated a tricky set of injuries.
She helped me stay patient as we gradually built back up to continuous runs, supplementing with cross-training and strength work which grew both my fitness and confidence and led to a very strong build for London this past spring. We just recently have been able to incorporate speed work again and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead!
