Quentin's Birth Story
A very uncomplicated pregnancy turned quite complicated at my 34 week OB appointment when my blood pressure was extremely high. As a 35 year old, I was already at a higher risk for high blood pressure and preeclampsia, so my OB had me on low dose aspirin for the entirety of my pregnancy as a precaution. It may be why I was able to avoid the high BP earlier in my pregnancy, but it was quite a shock.
Peak Weeks of Eugene Training + A Reevaluation of Goals
The peak weeks are finally over and I'm about to enter my taper. It's been a HUGE challenge to push through these last couple weeks and I'm excited to say goodbye to them.
